Johnston Design Inc is small by intent, but we bring over 60 years of combined experience in structural engineering, architectural design and construction to every project we are associated with. We have designed buildings and structures in all types of materials including: wood; steel; masonry; and concrete, both precast and post-tensioned.  We have been involved with and advised government organizations, educators, developers, planners, contractors, builders and just plain folk about the building process. We provide full CAD services utilizing AutoCAD and Revit, and incorporate the leading design software from Bentley RAM, CSC Tedds, WoodWorks and others.

What we don’t do: Design dams, highways, or drive trains
What we do: Keep the roof over your head and the floor under your feet and
encourage walking and biking to, from and while working for our health and the health of the planet
